Tour of Kathmandu, Chitwan, Lumbini, and Pokhara in brief
10 Days 9 Nights A Nepal vacation package includes wildlife safaris, historical and religious attractions, and mountain views. In Kathmandu, which has been a city of temples since the fourth century, you may witness Buddhist stupas and Hindu Devalayas every hundred meters. The most well-known aspect of Chitwan National Park is the jungle safari excursion that includes a horned rhinoceros and a royal Bengal tiger. Additionally, “Lumbini,” the location of Lord Buddha’s birth, is revered by Buddhists and travelers from all over the world. The finest place to witness a panoramic view of the mountains, go boating on Fewa Lake, or go hiking in Sarangkot to see the dawn and sunset is Pokhara, a lovely tourist attraction.
Visit Kathmandu Durbar Square, Swayambhunath, Pashupatinath Temple, and Boudhanath Stupa as part of your Kathmandu Chitwan Lumbini Pokhara travel package as it begins in the capital. If you have extra time, you can extend your trip to Bhaktapur and Patan’s Durbar Square to admire centuries-old statues and works of art by Nepalese artists. These locations are all listed as UNESCO world heritage sites.
Each location’s history and anecdotes will be covered in detail by our knowledgeable tour guide. After that, you’ll go to Chitwan National Park for a two-night and three-day jungle safari program where you can see some endangered wildlife, including a horned rhinoceros, a Royal Bengal tiger, a crocodile, and other creatures while on an elephant safari. The main activities on the tour include seeing a Tharu native ethnic group community, forest walks, bird watching, canoeing, traditional shows at night, and elephant bathing and rides. The center for elephant and crocodile watching is another option.
The journey’s next stop is Lumbini, often known as the “birthplace of Lord Buddha.” According to an inscription on a stone column built by the Mauryan monarch Asoka in 249 BC, Lord Buddha was born there in Lumbini, in the southern plains of Nepal, around 623 BC. Lumbini, like Mecca and Medina for Muslims and Jerusalem for Christians, is a holy site for Buddhists all across the world. Each year, thousands of people travel to Lumbini. The main draws include the Ashoka Pillar, the sacred Pushkarini pond, the Mayadevi Temple (where Lord Buddha was born), several Buddhist stupas, Chaitya, Bihar representatives from around the world, and the spot where Maya Devi washed before giving birth to Buddha. It is also worthwhile to observe the physical contraction of the current era in Lumbini, which includes people from countries like Myanmar, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Thailand, Germany, China, Vietnam, India, France, South Korea, Australia, etc.
The final leg of the Kathmandu Chitwan Lumbini Pokhara travel package involves traveling from Lumbini to Pokhara, which is near to Tensen (the administrative center for the Palpa region) and Nyanja. One of the most beautiful cities in the world is certainly Pokhara. Dr. Toni Hagen, a Swiss geologist and the father of Swiss development aid, described Pokhara as a paradise on earth during his 1950 visit. A stunning panoramic view of the Himalayas may be found on Pokhara’s northern side. It’s a breathtaking sight at dusk and dawn.
In Pokhara, there are numerous well-known lakes, including Fewa, Begnas, and Rupa. On a lake boat tour, you can see stunning mountain scenery. The tour is made more meaningful by mysterious caves, the “Patale Chhaga” waterfall, the Tibetan protecting hamlet, and the hospitality of the residents. Sarangkot is the ideal location to take in the sunrise and sunset with a backdrop of mountains. Another lovely vantage point is the World Peace Stupa, which is located just over Fewa Lake. During the Kathmandu Chitwan Lumbini Pokhara tour, you can visit Mahendra Cave, Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave, Seti George River at Mahendra Pul, International Mountain Museum, and Barahi temples. The best adventure activities, like paragliding, jeep flyer, and sunrise viewing, can be found at Sarangkot Hill, a 45-minute drive away.
