Kathmandu City Tour is a favorite itinerary for many tourists. You could live in this city your entire life and still not experience all the amazing things it has to offer because it is so vibrant and diversified.

Everything in this place is bigger and better. In Kathmandu, even the ancient historical sites and sacred sites are more significant than the majority of contemporary aesthetic structures. There is no end to the city’s finest attractions, but Kathmandu Durbar Square has to be the best.

Pashupatinath is another landmark of interest and is a UNESCO World Heritage landmark. There are numerous historical Hindu temples, statues, and idols there. A visit to the Monkey Temple and a stop at the Boudhanath Stupa are also included in the cultural tour of Kathmandu.

The Everest Base Camp Trek begins with a scenic flight of around 30 minutes from Kathmandu to Lukla. The settlement is the starting point of the 62 kilometer journey, which terminates at the base of the Khumbu Icefall.

To reach the base camp, the trail passes through a number of isolated towns, large valleys, and high slopes. There are several hard ascents, followed by a short stretch of level ground. It will be necessary for Everest Base Camp Trek visitors to traverse suspension bridges and move through a forest. To get to the base camp, they might also need to scramble over loose rocks and stones.

Amazing vistas of snow-capped mountains, tall hills, and river valleys meet them from the edge as they proceed along the hillside. Trekkers will take a day off twice, each time at a different location and time, to avoid altitude sickness. To get to the base camp, they will have to negotiate a rocky, uneven terrain that is littered with loose rocks. Itinerary 2: Kathmandu City Tour and the Langtang Gosainkunda Trek

For all serious hikers, Langtang Gosainkunda is another fantastic hiking location. Given the easy hiking paths, breathtaking scenery, and extensive cultural history, it is frequently the first choice for visitors.

The day after your arrival in Kathmandu City, the hike begins. First, we’ll go north along the Trishuli River, passing by the bustling Trishuli Bazaar. We cross Dhunche and arrive in Syabrubensi.

The trail ascends to Rimche, which is located along the bank of the Langtang River, by following the Bhote Koshi River’s bank and passing past the terrace farm. The path ascends the slope to Bamboo and then Rimche as you move from just below the landslide area.

Additionally, it runs through rural communities and a dense forest that is home to birch and bamboo. The rise through the woodland and narrow river valley that follows Ghora Tabela widens as the hike progresses. We pass past the rural community, which is dotted with prayer flags and Mani wheels.

Long after passing the Lama Hotel, we’ll need to trek along the valley with the steep sides. The walk eventually leads us to Langtang Village, which offers a stunning view of wide-open fields, mighty hills, and deep valleys. The trail then ascends before winding through yak pastureland and following flowing streams. We must walk 4 kilometres up the highland to reach the Kyanjin Gompa as part of the course. At the top, there is an old Tibetan monastery that is incredibly beautiful and decorated with prayers, flags, and wheels in different colors. With the surrounding mountains, rugged slopes, and deep gorges, the view from the summit is breathtaking. In order to get to Kyanjin Ri, most travelers spend a day crossing the difficult terrain and steep mountain. With all the picturesque scenery, Langtang Lirung Glacier, and Langtang, it is a side trek and a significant highlight of the Langtang Gosainkunda trekking.

The trail slowly travels toward Shyabru village from here, past the Lama Hotel. To reach this small town, it travels over 7 miles along rivers and through mountain forests. The track once more travels the constrained lane with a few drops to Gosainkunda after departing Shyabru the following day.

The majority of its paths continue to be uphill and ascend higher ground. To get to Cholangpati, it climbs a steep hill and squeezes through a tangle of trees. An uphill and downhill trek over rugged terrain ends with a breathtaking view of Gosainkunda Lake.

Following the Gosainkunda trek, the trail descends the slopes and travels through the historic villages before coming to a close at Dhunche. Travelers can easily reach the city from here by driving there, which takes around 2-3 hours.

The following day, tourists will embark on an eye-pleasing cultural tour of Kathmandu City. It gives guests a quick tour of the city’s top sights, like the Monkey Temple and Kathmandu Durbar Square. Visits to well-known holy monuments including Boudhanath Stupa and Pashupatinath are included in the supplementary tour.

The final day in Kathmandu City will be spent by visitors exploring Bhaktapur Durbar Square. There are many historical and cultural treasures, buildings, and works of art in this old Newari city. The trip’s main highlights include the Nayatapola Temple, Lion’s Gate, Vatsala, and the stone statues that enhance the temple’s splendor.
