Annapurna Base Camp Trek 7 Days

The Annapurna Base Camp Trek is a once-in-a-lifetime vacation experience!
The Annapurna Base Camp Trek is one of the most legendary and classical treks in the world, offering breath-taking mountain views and the opportunity to discover typical Nepali villages, local people, and their way of life in the Himalaya of Nepal. The Annapurna Base Camp route takes you through stunning and quiet landscapes, lovely Gurung and Magar villages, lush green Rhododendron, bamboo, and alpine forests, and finally to the trip’s ultimate and final goal, Annapurna Base Camp at 4130m (13546ft.).

Natural Experience
The trail is also a naturalist’s dream. On the third day of our journey, we leave our stuff at the guesthouse in Ghorepani and head to Poon Hill before dawn to enjoy the stunning sunrise. Poon Hill is one of the excellent locations on this walk for a sunrise and mountain vista. Mount Dhaulagiri, the Annapurna Range, and Mount Machhapuchhre (Fishtail Mountain) are seen from atop Poon Hill, as are the Butterfly Peaks in the far west. (SHOULD YOU SAY ANYTHING IN THIS PART ABOUT WHAT YOU SEE WHEN YOU REACH ABC?). Finding oneself at the base of the colossal Annapurna I (8091m) with a 360-degree mountain view that is beyond your imagination is an incredible lifetime mountain holiday experience in Nepal.

Hot springs
You can purify yourself spiritually in natural hot springs with bathing spaces in the lap of the mountains near Jhinu Danda. Locals think that the waters have a healing nature that will relieve your aches and pains.

Culture and People
The people we will meet on the Annapurna Base Camp Route are a mix of ethnic groupings, including Brahmans and Chhetris in lower elevations and Mongoloid Himalayans in the Himalaya. The area is primarily populated by Gurung and Magar people, and it is well-known for its Gurkha regiment. If you want to explore more cultural and traditional heritages in Himalaya, Wilderness Excursion recommends trekking in the Langtang, Manaslu, and Everest regions. There is little doubt that Annapurna is the best for scenery, as over 55000 tourists walk there each year.

Getting there and getting away
Except for the Annapurna Circuit, the Annapurna Base Camp Trek begins and ends in Pokhara, Nepal’s second largest city and a naturally blessed area to relax after a long journey in Annapurna. It is 200 kilometers west of Kathmandu. All domestic carriers operate many flights per day from Kathmandu to Pokhara for USD 102.00 per person. By tourist bus, it takes about 7 to 8 hours to get there. Local buses and microbuses leave Kathmandu every hour until 3 p.m. Every morning, Green Line Buses (USD 25.00 per person) and additional tourist buses operate. Wilderness Excursion will organize and handle everything on your behalf.

Tour Plan

Day 1 Travel by car to Phedi and then climb for 5–6 hours to Tolka (1750m).

Today, the adventure starts with a combination of seeing the local customs and culture and admiring the stunning mountain scenery. Your guide will pick you up from your accommodation in Pokhara and bring you to Phedi. After that, you’ll hike via the lovely town of Dhampus-Pothana and spent the night in Tolka.

Day 2 5-7-hour trek to Sinuwa (Altitude 2100m)

The aim for today is to hike for around 7 hours from Tolka to Sinuwa (2310m). The trail is pleasant at first, then gradually descends to Modi Khola after Landruk, crosses a large, impressive suspension bridge at Jhinu Danda, and finally climbs steeply to Chhomrong, another impressive Gurung village. You must hike down to the river from this settlement before returning up to Sinuwa. If the weather is good, you can spend the night at the Lodge and take in the beautiful mountain scenery.

Day 3 6-7 hour trek to Deurali (3230m altitude).

Today, Dovan will lead us on a silent jungle hike to the Himalayas. Mountains are revered and regarded as holy. As it is already known, Annapurna is usually interpreted as the Goddess of the Harvests, but it actually means “full of food” (feminine form). In Hinduism, Annapurna is referred to as “the mother who feeds” and “the universal and timeless kitchen-goddess.” Without her, there would be widespread terror and starvation. On the banks of the Ganga River, in Kashi, is where her most well-known shrine is. From a religious perspective, it is crucial to honor Mother Nature and foster tranquil and serene environments because of her relationship with the provision of food (money), which eventually led to her transformation into Lakshmi, the Goddess of money. Spend the night in the inn.

Day 4 Walk for 5–6 hours to reach ABC (Annapurna Base Camp), elevation 4130 m.

The valley broadens and flattens out above Deurali. We arrive at the location where a few individuals were killed by an avalanche ten years ago after ascending some stone stairs. We shouldn’t linger in this potentially hazardous area for too long. This area has avalanche warnings, so keep moving forward while being cautious until you reach a safe location. More stunning White Mountains come into view as you proceed. After Machhapuchhre Base Camp, the trail makes a left turn and climbs ABC in a pleasant manner, despite the air being thinner. Your current altitude may feel high. It is advised to move slowly and avoid rushing. From Base Camp, you can now witness one of the best 360-degree mountain views in the entire globe. Magnificent views of the magnificent peaks Machhapuchhre (Mt. Fishtail) 6997m, Annapurna South 7219m, and the enormous Annapurna I 8091m are available. Spend the night in the inn.

Day 5 To get to Dovan - Bamboo (2310m), hike down. a 6-7 hour walk.

Following a hearty breakfast and a glimpse of the Brilliant Mountains, we descend down to Dovan or Bamboo via the MBC, Deurali, and Himalaya. While traveling, we stop for tea and lunch. Spend the night in the inn.

Day 6 7-8 hour trek to Ghandruk (1940m).

From Bamboo, we ascend for 30 minutes through a delightful jungle path to Sinuwa, descend to Chhumrung Khola, climb a steep stone stairway to the upper Chhomrung, then proceed toward Komrong Khola and ascend to a short pass known as Komrong Danda before continuing our ascent for another 30 minutes to Ghandruk. lodge overnight stay.

Day 7 Drive to Pokhara

Following breakfast, we hike for about an hour to Siwai, after which we board a local shared jeep or bus of your choosing to Pokhara. We get to Pokhara after a 3 to 4 hour trip. Depending on your schedule, you have the option of driving or taking a flight to Kathmandu. Stay at a Pokhara hotel.
